Previously, I worked as a Social Media Specialist for MarketScale in Dallas, Texas. MarketScale is a digital marketing and publishing firm based in Dallas that produces high-quality informational materials—blogs, ebooks, case studies, brochures, web copy, digital video—for client companies. They partner with major B2B companies operating in a number of industries: AV, biotechnology, hospitals/healthcare, electronics, industries in life-sciences, LED lighting and Displays, architecture and design—to name a few.

A Nashville native and Southern Methodist University graduate, I have a degree in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs specializing in political communications. An appreciation for art, good grammar and humorous writing led me to pursue minors in journalism, fashion media and art history. I take pride in my well-organized planner and believe whole-heartedly that anything worth doing is worth overdoing. I believe that good people and lively conversations make life great, and hope to pursue a career that allows me to experience that.

During my undergraduate career, I served as the Director of Programming for my chapter of Chi Omega and the Digital Director of the SMU Look. Most recently, I was published for PaperCity Dallas. Previously, I have been published on the Nashville blog StyleBlueprint and NorthPark Center’s website. On campus, I wrote weekly posts for SMU’s fashion publication the SMU Look and was an editor for the print magazine. Additionally, I wrote for the student newspaper The Daily Campus, and The Keep-Up, SMU’s version of The Skimm. To see these articles, please visit the Published tab.

I have experience shooting video with Sony NX5U HD cameras and editing on Adobe Premiere Pro and iMovie. Additionally, I have photography experience with DSLR cameras and am comfortable using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightroom for photo editing and layout design. As an intern at both NorthPark Center and Dallas City Hall, I planned social media posts for thousands of followers on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook using the scheduling program Meltwater.
